The Wrath of a Bitter Fan!

Not sure if anyone is like me, who prefer watching The Voice USA over The Voice UK. I would rather listen to Shakira’s broken English, to Jessy J yapping away, talking non sense and picking up arguments with all the other judges.

And if you are like me, you would have been utterly shocked over yesterday’s result, when two of Adam Levine’s team were eliminated on the same night. Well. One of them was not a big surprise; the girl Sarah Simmons is nice and has an incredible voice, however her personality withers away in comparison with the other contestants. But the big shocker was the elimination of Judith Hill, Michael Jackson’s prodigy, with all judges praising her vocal capabilities and regarding her as one of the potential winners of the show.

For me I was really shocked with her song choice on Monday, where she decided to sing a Justin Bieber song! , well, that is not all accurate; it was Will.i.am new single featuring Justin Bieber. But still, you don’t go from performing a Michael Jackson tune, to Justin Bieber in a matter of a week. And where was Adam to correct her and coach her into having better music selection.

However, I believe that the main reason two members of team Adam got eliminated, is due to my wrath that I have bestowed upon Adam. You may ask why would I do such a thing? The answer is;  Maroon 5 postponed the European leg of their tour until January of next year! I have been waiting for this concert since it was first announced last summer, and after waiting an entire year to see them, making a playlist of their set-list and listening to it religiously to know all the lyrics by the time of the concert, and at the very last second they decide to reschedule. As you can see, i am still bitter about it!

The reason for the cancellation is “conflicting schedules” But we all know, it is because Adam would still be partaking in The Voice and cannot leave. As understandable as this may be, I find it rather offending and a bit disloyal on Adam’s part to his European fan. Excuse me, Mr. I only date Victoria Secret Models, you would not be where you are today if it was not for the fans, which made you and your band a big band. You should always, always, always stay loyal to the fans, because without them, you will have no one buying your records, attending your concerts, or voting for your team on the show.

As if the loss of the only contestant capable of making Adam win this year, he forgot his microphone was still on when he devastatingly said “I hate America”, for not voting for his girls. Upsetting the content of Europe (more specifically UK, Ireland,France and the Netherlands) was not enough for Adam, he also offended America, and just after memorial weekend.

He took to his twitter to apologies  but I am not sure how much it will save him. Let us just hope that Mr.Levine learnt his mistake, to never ever upset his fans again, or more bad luck will come his way.
